LW 1915-1916

In unusual strong colours and with pearl yarn on fine fabric "LW" has worked her school sampler. Probably started in 1915 and finished happily in 1916. Entirely charming is her selection of motifs in the "free" area: cartouches, animals, flowers and children playing under a tree.
