Frida Seifert 1904

Frida's sampler is a beautiful example of school work: starting with simple exercises and ending with exercises for later darning work and with the finest Holbein stitches over just one thread for the name. She certainly got the grade "very good" for that. Frida's sampler lay in a big box with other little treasures. It was handed to me with the words: "I have no heirs, no one wants to have that, now I give it into good hands."
